Mobile advertising products offer another advertising opportunity to reach people on the go and have become an integral part of the mix across the Carsales Network. Each vertical offers targeting parameters and is purchased on share of voice (SOV).

Category sponsorships are available across most of the sites in the Network. Sponsorships on the auto, boats and bikes sites have great flexibility with the types of ad products available. They can use standard, rich media or video as well as page reskins. The industry sites are less flexible (ConstructionHub.com.au etc) and can only use standard ads for category sponsorships. Category examples are body type/style in vehicles; road/learner categories in bikes etc.

This traffic is then passed through to the sponsors own site. Another option is to have strategically placed display advertising in site areas that help drive leads directly to the sponsors own site. Finally, a finance form can be displayed after an enquiry is made. Leads are sent to the sponsor.

Microsites offer the perfect advertising opportunity if you are looking for a fully integrated solution. Microsites offer the flexibility to showcase your products and services within the environment of a Carsales Network site. The flexibility of this means that more information can be provided to the site user to help them make an informed decision.
Newsletters are sent out from 6 of the Carsales Network sites on varying intervals each month. The content of these newsletters is the latest news and reviews of those cars, bikes, boats or homes. The subscriber audience is a highly targetable one, whether they be interested in the latest news or in-market buyers looking for the latest reviews. Advertisers can take standard ad placements within each newsletter to ad a a highly targeted audience element to their advertising campaign.

Custom Solutions are specifically designed for high impact branding. These type of executions are designated only to specific pages like homepages, category landing pages or microsites. Currently not all sites in the Carsales Network can cater for this type of solution. They are best used to launch larger campaigns to generate immediate interest in the product or service being advertised. New product or service launches are ideal for this type of execution.
